The accommodation is very clean
We personally found that this hotel is incredibly clean and well-maintained, so you don’t have to worry about any dirt or other messes during your stay. This was our first hostel stay, so we were amazed at how clean everything was!
The location is so central
What sets The Pad Silverthorne Hotel apart from other hotels in Silverthorne is its location. It’s right in the center of town and within walking distance of some great restaurants, bars, shopping centers, and more. You can enjoy all that downtown Silverthorne has to offer without having to hop in a car.
The hostel is rather quiet
Plus, it’s surprisingly quiet despite being located right in the hustle and bustle of downtown—so you can get a good night’s rest without distractions.

Cons of The Pad
Finding parking can be difficult
The only downside to staying at The Pad is that the main parking lot may fill up fast, depending on the time of year you stay there. We ran into issues finding parking in the main lot on the weekend, but during the week, we were able to easily park.
There is also a second parking lot available, though it’s a bit of a walk away. If you’re driving, you’ll just need to plan ahead and save some extra time for that.
Our Experience with Staying at The Pad
We had an amazing experience staying at The Pad in Silverthorne. It’s in the most perfect location, being near enough to all the fun activities downtown but still being quiet and peaceful at night. The accommodation was spotless and clean, which we really appreciated.
Plus, the view of the river from our room was absolutely breathtaking. We could sit on my bed, which looked out to the river, and take it all in for hours – watching as people and bikers passed by or listening to the sounds of the water.
We personally booked and stayed in the Micro Room with Ensuite Bathroom, which is perfect for two people. It had an attached bathroom and a kitchenette with a fridge so we could store our leftovers.
What made this experience even better was how quiet it was – despite being so close to all the hustle and bustle of downtown Silverthorne, when we stayed at The Pad, it felt like we were miles away from the busyness. We would honestly stay here again easily.
